    Using those types of filters mounted on the lens(es) were more relevant for
    film, but what about digital photography? don’t the white balance presets
    in digital cameras work “the same way” as those filters described here?
    heck in digital we can even tell the camera what’s white and it will do the
    rest in correcting these problems discussed here just by setting a custom
    white balance. I’m surprised that we are in 2009 almost 2010 and “experts”
    still talk about what they’ve learned 60 years ago…
